Vampire Academy Series-Richelle Mead-Young Adult Fantasy Series

This series is great I think that all teens could relate to. Even if you're a guy it would be a great series to read. With trying to fit into school, getting the guy you want, and being watched by adults who just want you to be mature, it's great. Though, I am not sure about teens relating to save the world against a huge race of immortal vampires.
The main character, Rose Hathaway, shows a great story and a very confident character that I got to know and love very quickly. She is a very loyal friend to Lissa Dragomir, and fights for what she believes in, even if the cost is her own life. Rose is a dhampir, half vampire who protects moroi, mortal vampires. Her and Lissa share this amazing and very rare connection to communicate with one another through their minds. After being on the run for about a year, the two are cought and brought to what Rose calls, the Vampire Academy. All moroi are supposed to specialize in one of the four elements. Fire, air, water, and earth. Lissa can do a little more than that. She specializes in Spirit. She can bring anything back from the brink of death.
Then there's the strigoi. Evil immortal vampires whose only thought is to kill. I'm not going to say any more because I would spoil it.
This series features fun characters, a love triangle, action and adventure (major butt-whooping), and regular high school problems. The movie came out like a year ago. It was only okay. It followed the book alright, but they could've done better, especially on the special effects parts. It was not a major bust thought like The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was. That was just a disappointment. The ending of the series was pretty good. I had a few questions I would've liked answered, but I'm happy that it wasn't a total cliff hanger.
Thank you so much for reading this. This is my fifth post, I will hopefully have a new one tomorrow, please leave comments and have a good day. THANK YOU!!!!
