Reborn-C.C. Hunter-Young Adult Fantasy

I really don't know how to start with this. I have had mixed emotions with reading this first book. I am currently reading Eternity, the second book in the series.
This book follows sixteen year old Della Tsang who has been a vampire for a year. She goes to Shadow Falls, a camp for children who have developed supernatural gifts. Della has dreamed about joining the FRU, almost like the FBI, but for the supernatural. She is a very strong character who kicks major butt. When she enters the camp for the first time in a year, a new face has arrived. His name is Chase. Just Chase, and he is somehow connected to the death of Della's cousin, Chan. Her feelings about Chase are mixed as serious crap goes down. Della is able to see ghosts, which is unheard of for vampires. Now with a new ghost hunting Della, a love triangle, and hard-core mystery, Della must find the murderer for her ghost and so much more.
This book was filled with a lot of laughter and a lot of action. If you liked Vampire Academy I suggest this series. I can't say it's my favorite series, but it definitely has a unique writing style to it. I do encourage it, I would say on a score out of ten I would give it an 8. I really like the ending because it ties a lot into the name of the book. It looks like each book is gonna be like a fantasy mystery style. Della is one of those characters that won't get distracted by anything, and I really like that. The second book is really good so far. There are some cheesy parts, and sometimes I feel like the romance in this book sometimes over powers the overall theme of the story.
Thank you so much for reading, this is my sixth post. Please leave comments below, and I will see you next time.
